Nan Gong Wen Tian

Magical Weapons is the first martial arts comics with the theme of a weapon plus elements of fables.  The story unfolded around the scramble for the ten Magical Weapons.  In the first year of the Emperor Yuan of the Jin Dynasty, the Nan Gong Family was to receive patronages from the royal dynasty but the leader of the evil force Tian Di Meng launched an ambush.  The head of the Nan Gong Family Nan Gong Yi defended with the Heaven’s Crystal and the Magical Weapon resulting in a vigorous combat and the Magical Weapon disappeared after the fight.

Nan Gong Wen Tian is the leading character of the comic, a descendant of the Celestial Goddess, rightful owner of the Heaven’s Crystal.  He became the chief of the martial arts chivalry and lived his entire life righteously, bravely and benevolently.  With the heart of a phoenix, he is a demigod and lives eternally as a loyal guardian of the earth.  As the new generation owner of the Heaven’s Crystal, can Nan Gong Wen Tian sever from the curse of the ancient times to defend the righteous and achieve a miracle for the martial arts community with the Magical Weapon ?

Tony WONG, alias WONG Yuk-long, was born in 1950 in Jiangmen, Guangdong Province and immigrated to Hong Kong when he was 6.  He committed to the comic career when he was 13 and established his own publishing company when he was 16.  In 1986, he succeeded to enlist the Jademan Holdings Limited in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and pioneered in the golden era of comics in Hong Kong.  In 1993, he founded the Jade Dynasty Group Limited and from 2004, he partnered with the China Central Television (CCTV) to create the animation TV series Shen Bing Kids and Shen Bing Kids 2 resulting in extremely high viewership in Mainland China capturing the eyeballs of hundreds of millions of viewers.  In December 2015, he signed a collaboration agreement with the Government of the Chun An Xian, Hangzhou to erect a YuLang Park in the Qian Dao Hu, to introduce to the people in China brand new and fantastic experiences in animation, movie &TV entertainment.  The project is scheduled to complete in 2021 which will be another culamination of his career in comics.
