K
K is a story of a Chinese agent refitted from the 007 structure with the inclusion of light jokes in his exciting tasks. Like James Bond, K retains a loose and romantic attitude and a hero-like character who shares human’s weaknesses, while his Chinese identity is highlighted in the story.
Embarking on the comics industry in 1982, Li Chi-tak left Jademan Comics a month later to pursue his comic career as an independent artist. His works were issued in Japan and published in Taiwan and France.
Li’s comic works go on a wide variety of styles and topics covering science fiction, marital arts chivalry, romance and philosophy…that has undoubtedly reflected the value of comics as a form of art.
In recent years, Li also got involved in other fields in the art industry, which has helped take his comics to a new level with these art elements.
