Cube Escape

Lau Kwong Shing

Spending his childhood in Kyoto, Japan under the influence of local comic culture, Lau pursued his study in the Department of Fine Arts in the Chinese University of Hong Kong after returning to Hong Kong. Lau was invited to participate in the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée d’Angoulême in France in 2017. He has held comic exhibitions such as Comics Like That and published a list of comic works, for example 2100, 2400, Comic Master Class Collection, The World After 2400, and Consumer Goods, which won him second runner-up in the 6th Comics New Star Competition. In early 2019, Lau published the comic version of Rusty Lake <Cube Escape: Paradox>, while he continues his creation of other works, such as Unknown Brothers. With his prolonged passion for comics, the artist tries to view comics from different perspectives and explore the diversity of comics as a form of art with his creation.
