Tornado is a character in the comics Kowloon Walled City who was addressed as “Big Brother” in the City. When the protagonist Chan Lok-kwan escaped from the hunting and killing by the big boss, Tornado saved Chan and fought against the big boss. He won the fight at last but was seriously injured and died with a smile.
Andy Szeto is a comic artist of the new generation with very strong personal style. Earlier in 1997, he fascinated the readers with his comic title Super God Z, which sold for more than 100,000 copies. Szeto later achieved continued success in the industry. In 2014, his work Kowloon Walled City was awarded Bronze Award of the 7th Japan International MANGA Award 2014. It was the first time for a thin volume Hong Kong comic book to win an international award, which was also a demonstration of Hong Kong comic’s reputation globally.

A new-generation creator who comes from the comic industry, and strives to have breakthrough by writing and publishing the novel Kowloon Walled City. The popular novel was later adapted into comics and was awarded Bronze Award of the 7th Japan International MANGA Award in 2014.
