马仔原名刘海欣，本是白领丽人，机缘巧合下转职为漫画家。她于2007年书展推出《我的低能之道》，书中记录的生活趣事大受读者欢迎，旋即登上各大畅销书榜首位；同年12月再度推出《我的低能之道2》，更一度卖至断市，而其后数年所推出的数本漫画亦都成为销量冠军，创出业界奇蹟。马仔的成功，吸引各大机构纷纷邀请合作，历年来推出了不少角色造型产品及展览。
