白狼是《西游》的主角，是归还西经小队成员之一。白狼在天羽山被龙王所救，并修缘成人形的狼妖。后来天众大军入侵天羽山龙宫，白狼带着《奇经》离开天羽山，从此开启了西天还经之旅。在还经之旅中，白狼产生心魔，化为「暗魂」，在古城与师父唐三藏重遇后被淨化，变回结巴，但成功掌握了「狼魂」。

郑健和于1992年投身漫画行业，他曾于邝氏出版有限公司及海洋创作有限公司任职，06年独立发展，成立壹本创作有限公司，首本作品为充满日式风格的《火龙》。此外，其主编作品尚有《魔神传》一至三部、《绝地天行》、《风林火山》、《暴拳凶星》、《武神凤凰》、《火龙》、《杀道行者》、《封神纪》及《野狼与玛莉》等。其中《野狼与玛莉》更被改编成为电影。
