







Din-dong

Din-dong is a silly cat kept by the creator at home, full of positive energy and dreams and likes to collect surplus resources.
The thematic exhibition has been showcased in the LCX – Hong Kong Harbour City, Olympian City, APM and also the Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation in Japan), etc.
Din-dong has won the 4th Asiagraph – Jury Special Award in Tokyo Japan and its animation was broadcast in the Nippon Television Network Corporation and also subsequently in the 34th Hong Kong International Film Festival. Din-dong has also won the Best Licensing Award of the Asian Licensing Association (Gold Award).
The Postgal Workshop is a partnership of art & graphics and script with Pam HUNG responsible for the latter and John CHAN for the former. Both of them are cat lovers and feel that human beings living in the universe is just as insignificant as fleas in a cat and hence the Chinese name ‘Postgal Workshop’ which is a homonym of the Chinese words ‘Cat Flea’. The Postgal Workshop duo has won the award of the ‘Hong Kong Arts Development Awards – Awards of Best Artists’ and their creations have also won the highest award in the animation competition organised by the Japan TBS Television and was interviewed by the Yomiuri Shimbun afterwards. The picture books Din-dong – Amazing Rose and Din-dong – Free trip were published by the Joint Publishing (Hong Kong) Limited. They were also invited by the publishing company in Taiwan ANDbooks.com.tw to produce the Din-dong – Light Craziness.
