Luk Che-ming

LUK Che-ming was committed to the career of comics since childhood in 1984 upon graduation from school.  He joined SEUNG GUN Siu-hung as an apprentice and has since then changed several jobs with different comic companies.  Very soon he was destined to join the Jademan Comics which was the most sizeable comic company in Hong Kong then and worked under the team of Mr. Alan WAN who was the producer of the Tiger & Dragon Heroes.  His main responsibility was to cover the background and he’s done it for more than ten years.  In his spare time, he also created short comic stories and he left the job with Jademan Comics owing to a myriad of reasons in the early 2000s.

 

In 2014, he heard that SEUNG GUN Siu-keung was going to re-publish the Siu Keung Manhua Collection Comic Series and his passion for comic creation was ignited again.  And this time the fiery desire to create comics was entirely insatiable !

 

In February 2015, he partnered with a few fanatics in comics to publish the new Comic Punch and so far have published two volumes and the third volume is now in the pipeline.  If time allows, he also would do one or two comics in the works of other comic artists in order to fully fulfill his enjoyment of being in the comics industry !
